June 6, 2012, 8 pm: Berkeley Early Music Festival Main-Stage Concert: "300 Years On: A Dance Collection from the Reign of Louis XIV." Instrumentalists of Musica Pacifica and dancers in full Baroque costume, led by Baroque dance specialist Linda Tomko, join forces to bring to the stage choreographies and their music from the 1712/13 Recueil de Dance, a dazzling collection of dances from the last decades of Louis XIV's reign. Celebrating the 300th anniversary of the Recueil, the program showcases music of Marais, Campra, Lully, and Destouches, as well as one of Telemann's delightful "Paris" Quartets. A combination Concert/Party/Comedy Show/FUNdraiser for Musica Pacifica's upcoming recording project: Baroque Cantatas and Sonatas with soprano Dominique Labelle. Comedic skits by members of Musica Pacifica and MC "Draconia Crocodilia" (aka Dr. Lisa Capaldini); Raffle for prizes; Auction for private house concert by Musica Pacifica, and private lessons with each member. Refreshments and bubbly drinks provided!

Sept. 11, 2011, 12 pm: Legion of Honor, San Francisco Program: "Music in the Time of Vermeer" to accompany the exhibit "Dutch and Flemish Masterworks from the Otterloo Collection." Free after museum admission.
