Friday, June 12, 2015, 11:00 pm. Musica Pacifica performs Dancing in the Isles at the Boston Early Music Festival Mainstage.

Sunday, June 21, 2015, 4:00 pm. Judith Linsenberg and Elizabeth Blumenstock open the Baroque Music Festival Corona del Mar, with Elizabeth directing the festival. The two perform with other distinguished oboe, recorder, violin, and viola soloists in an afternoon of concertos by Johann Sebastian Bach and J.G. Graun. St. Mark's Presbyterian Church, 2200 San Joaquin Hills Road (at MacArthur Blvd.), Newport Beach, CA 92660. Preceded by brass music al fresco on the patio at 3:15 p.m.; wine/waters reception on the patio following the concert.

Monday, June 22, 2015, 8:00 pm. Elizabeth Blumenstock featured in an All-Bach Recital, showcasing keyboard masterworks by Bach and his relatives. Wednesday, June 24, 2015, 8:00 pm. Elizabeth Blumenstock performs Das Musikalische Opfer, BWV 1079, with the Baroque Music Festival Chamber Ensemble. Johann Sebastian Bach’s keyboard masterpiece is an integrated collection of canons, fugues and other pieces, all based on a single musical theme given to him by Frederick the Great, and performed here in an arrangement for strings. Sherman Library & Gardens, Corona del Mar, CA 92625. Preceded by brass music al fresco in the Gardens at 7:15 p.m.; wine/waters reception on the patio following the concert.

Friday, February 20, 2015, 7:30pm. Trinity Chapel, 2320 Dana St., at Durant, Berkeley. Musica Pacifica presents two of Bach's beloved Brandenburg Concertos--#4 featuring solo violin and 2 recorders; and #5 featuring harpsichord, flute, and violin--as well as Telemann's concerto for flute and recorder, string concertos by Vivaldi and an unusual double concerto for recorder, violin, and strings by Johann Gottlieb Graun. Tickets are $30 general, $25 seniors, $13 students, right here. (Please note that the student price goes up to $15 at the door.) Or get two concerts for just a few dollars more! Zweikampf, the harpsichord duo of Faythe Vollrath and Stephen Gamboa, are playing their wondeful program “Sehnsucht: All the Feels of the Late Baroque” right around the corner, right before our concert.
